Ranked #12 of 15 Contains a prostaglandin analogue

Nutridome Lash Conditioner

The most misleading product in this ranking, and not because anything on the label is false. Nutridome is sold as a gentle lash conditioner with ginseng and nettle — and its seventh ingredient is dechloro dihydroxy difluoro ethylcloprostenolamide, the same analogue RevitaLash uses at seven times the price.

What is in it

Biotinoyl tripeptide-1, niacinamide, ginseng and nettle extract, soluble collagen — a conditioner's ingredient list, with an analogue sitting in the middle of it. DDDE is one of the three compounds the SCCS flagged in February 2026. Nothing about the word 'conditioner' on the front of the pack prepares you for it.

Full ingredient list

Aqua, Propanediol, Panthenol, Glycerin, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Dechloro Dihydroxy Difluoro Ethylcloprostenolamide, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Niacinamide, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Soluble Collagen, Urtica Dioica Extract.

How it performed

Considerably better than a conditioner has any right to. Visible change from week six for most testers, and by week twelve results close to the mid-table growth serums — which is what the analogue is there to do. No irritation reported.

Who it is for

Anyone who wants an analogue serum on a tight budget, having understood what they are buying. Emphatically not anyone who picked it up because it said 'conditioner' and they wanted something gentle.

What we liked

✓
Effective, and cheap for the class — about £5 a month
✓
Decent supporting formula with biotinoyl tripeptide-1
✓
Analogue is listed on the pack

Keep in mind

−
Sold as a gentle conditioner while containing an SCCS-flagged analogue
−
Positioning is likely to mislead exactly the people who most want to avoid one
−
Small 3 ml size
The verdict

Ranked #12 of 15

The product that best explains why we read every INCI list rather than trusting the front of the box. Effective and cheap — and nothing about how it is marketed tells you what it actually is.

Safety note

This product contains Dechloro Dihydroxy Difluoro Ethylcloprostenolamide. Prostaglandin analogues are associated with darkening of the eyelid skin, loss of fat around the eye socket and, rarely, permanent change to iris colour. Do not start it if you have glaucoma or ocular hypertension, or use prescribed eye drops, without speaking to a clinician. Patch-test first, photograph your eyes for a baseline, and stop if you notice redness, swelling, darkening or any change to your vision.

We review products, we are not clinicians, and this is not medical advice. Ingredient information was taken from the manufacturer's published INCI list on 13 August 2026 — formulas change and brands sell variants under similar names, so check the pack you are holding. If this page is out of date, email us and we will correct it.
